My period is late how late can it be till it's not normal?

Ive had my period be a week late but never seemed like a problem...Id just get a rlly heavy flow once it did finally start. I dont know when it becomes dangerously late though. Id say call a doctor if its over 2 weeks just to make sure.

(Not a doctor just what id do if i was in ur situation, haha :P )
