So my partner had a fit and I was asking him the usual questions that you ask afterwards. When I asked him what my name was he called me a different name, this happen four times. I'm wondering if anyone else has had an experience like this?

Those are symptoms of severe B vitamin deficiency. Get him nutritional yeast powder and/or B-100 pills. Vitamin B2 is a water soluble dye that turns urine bright yellow. When the color fades, it's time for another dose. Try to get him to read some books about nutrition so he knows how to eat right.
We were discussing yesterday's diet (when he had the fit) and he had had mainly carbs that day. So we think it's a mixture of diet and that he forgot to take his medication.
Vitamin deficiency may or may not be a medical issue. Doctors usually have no training in nutrition, so they will not advise on that subject. B vitamin deficiency is cheap enough to test and treat just to avoid it.
I contacted health services at the time and by the end of the assessment they were happy with his condition as he regained all his faculties.
