My parents won't let me get a border collie because we don't have enough room but otherwise good?

We are moving to bigger house in a year but I want this one dog but you know someones going to adopt him in the next year.

If you have the money for the dog buy it and keep it in your wardrobe i have done that previously and it worked for 6 months, or say you found it and want to keep it etc, maybe ask to reserve the dog
