My niece is 23 yrs old; works part-time (low hours); hrs; does not make enought $ for Obama care?

How is she supposed to get medical insurance when she does not have the funds?  Her parents are divorced, with neither one of them having insurance coverage?  She's not old enough to qualify for Medicare - what happens to the child if she gets sick??

I heard it will cover you if you cannot afford it. I'm not sure if that's true because I keep hearing contradictions everywhere. I've never been so eager for the next election.

I'm 29 and make too little to afford insurance (got a quote of $250/ month with an insanely high deductible ) but too much to qualify for state insurance. It's really ridiculous, there is little someone in this situation can do other then hope nothing serious happens.
