She is a big dog even though she is a puppy so soon no other dog will be a match for her in a fight. I had to stop a fight last night between her and my daughter's siberian husky female. I got bitten on the hand drawing blood by the siberian on accident. I yell NO and separate them but I need more guidance.

I have also been an owner of a GP. Wonderful, beautiful dogs, When I worked at kennels and shelters. in case of a fight, their advice was always WATER! Never, ever try to get between fighting dogs, you will always come out the loser and I once actually got tetanus from an animal bite.. Also be sure you are willing to commit, some dogs are loners and just won't respond to other animals. Best of luck to you.
The problem could be because of you just getting her at 5 months old. Many times we see dogs under 1 has puppies and although they are their mindset grows alot faster than ours. I would ask her prevouis owner if there were any issues with dog aggression. Also, think about the way you introduced them. Did you introduce them on leashes, in small quarters, with you there, or anything you can think of. All of these may cause issues. I would think about seperating them and doing a re introducing session. Make sure you have someone else with you and show attention to both dogs and praise them when they are good and scold if they start to growl. This is going to be a long grueling process, but I hope it helps! The best of luck to you and your fur babies!!
