My neighbor has had his 40ft utility trailer in my yard for over 3-5 years. I've told him verbally i want it gone but he just says the same ole I"i'll get to it". Can I claim ownership of the trailer. Its piled with scrap metal and LITERALLY JUNK! This guy is a SERIOUS HOARDER! What can I do to have it hauled away or claim it myself?

Sell it for scrap. As long as you didn't get any money for storage, you're clear.

Yes you can absolutely claim it ..it's been 3-5years ..after 3 months it's considered abandon property so by law you have all rights as the owner of the property that the trailer is on to do as you please with it.
