first and the foremost keep a check on your diet! eat healthy, include green leafy veggies in ur diet.
secondly dont use ur nails for cutting, peeling of thngs, pluckng etc. thyl sure break if u do ths.
cut them in shape from time to time. do not go for frequent manicures. and also after washing or after bathng or after manicure dont put force on ur nails as thy becum soft wid that!
drink plently of water.
U are low in potassium also...if yr nails r
brittle + breaking. So add bananas + anything
else with potassium in. Plus a multivitamin daily
Glass of milk ( calcium helps )
Add these to the diet suggested.
Tip: Try 2 keep handwashing @ a minium.
Wear plastic gloves if u have a job they
require u to do this a lot.
Shellac would be the best option for you while your trying to grow your nails, Shellac is a long lasting nail polish that is strong and requires a UV light to dry. Shellac doesn't damage the nails while still making them look pretty. Acrylics damage the nails no matter what, I usually have strong, quick growing nails but after taking off my acrylics, they are always broken, brittle and thin.
