So, yesterday after years of really wanting a cat but thinking it'd never happen, my mom said we'd adopt a kitten from our neighbours gran... The first nationwide I asked though was: "what did dad say" well she told me: "I asked him and he said if I want to" so I was sooooooooo excited and it changed my whole perspective on, well, LIFE! I was looking so forward to it that I was googling a whole lot of about cats, I was so excited I couldn't wait for the next day... But that night, of course I should have seen it coming, my dad, had to change his mind... He said:the house is too small and there are already too many of us, even though my mom and I both solved both problems, he, still he, I wish he would know the pleasure and love of having a pet, I wish he cared more... This crushed my life's greatest dream ever! I'll never look forward to anything ever again! If you have any suggestions please help! Note: my dad is a very stubborn person and hates trying new things but he usually ends up liking them, he is extremely fussy as well| plz help me...

I am in the same situation but both my parents don't want a kitten or cat. My suggestion is to do some research on cats and show your dad why you don't need a big house for a cat and how little responsibility it takes to care for a cat etc... You can even make a slideshow or presentation to try and convince him (that's what I'm doing). I hope this helps!
