My mom doesn't like my girlfriend. She blames her for my depression but she doesn't understand. I tried explaining it to her but she doesn't listen. She doesn't understand it's not my girlfriends fault. What should I do?

Well, I think the more important question here is, what did you try to explain to her? That it wasn't your girlfriend's fault you had depression? You have to look at this from your mom's point of view. If she cares about you, she'll want to do anything she can to help you. And, depending on how much she cares about you, she may be blind both to your faults and to the nature of them. If you want her to understand that it's not your girlfriend's fault, discover first why you have depression. After you understand yourself in this aspect, it'll be easier to explain it to your mother. Explain to her the real reason behind your depression. From what I can tell she cares about you and your problems, and I'm quite sure she doesn't have any interest in hearing you defend someone she doesn't know. Explain to her the origin of your depression first, and when she comes around, then work on getting her to like your girlfriend.
