My Mac Book computer is running slow what steps can I do to fix it?

This happens to me most of the time, try restarting it by clicking on the apple logo on the home menu and click restart. Your Mac will turn off and you may have to turn it back on, but normally, if you wait a few minutes, it will come back on automatically. I hope this helps.
