Im a freshmen in Highschool, nothing too interesting about me. No one even seems interested in me, I did have a boyfriend back in 6th grade, but he was a total jerk so I dumped him. Now I feel lonely. All my friends show off their boyfriends so why can't I get a guy. I am short around 5"4 I have shoulder length brownish blonde hair and grey eyes. My complection is fair enough, I love reading books and hanging out at the park with friends ( you know when they aren't hanging all over their boyfriends and locking lips in front of me). And whats so wrong with a little modesty!! Please help?

Heres a few things, 1. If you say there is nothing interesting about you, then people will start believing that. Everyone has different opinions of what is interesting. What one person thinks is boring can be extremely interesting for someone else.
2. Dont care that other people have boyfriends. Feel happy for them, knowing that you're man will come soon. You have to wait for the right ones, if you jump head first into a relationship, and be snogging the first guy who lets you, the relationship wont last very long, meaning heartbreak will come quicker.
3. Also, there's nothing wrong with a little modesty. Most guys in highschool only want the girls who are pretty, and sleep around cause then they can just use them and push them away when they're done. Now not all guys are like that though. You should try to become friends with a guy who also likes reading, so you can have something to break the ice with. You might be able to talk about that while you get to know each others interests. Also, you should really think about your interests, do you like Gaming? Drawing? Writing? Listening to music? Writing music? Playing music? What interests you? When you figure this out, it will help find someone who is also interested in these things, and they will find you interesting.
