I have an iPod touch 5g, and recently, it stopped working. Now I admit, it's not in great condition.. The screen is cracked, and missing a few shards of glass. The device was working perfectly fine in this condition, but now it has blue & red vertical lines along the screen, and won't swipe.. BUT! A few nights back, it let me swipe and unlock it, but that's all it let me do. I couldn't do anything else once I was in. It went right back to it's unresponsive state. So my question is, should I replace the entire screen or could there be another solution?
(‘Nother question: can I use an iPhone screen as a replacement or should I stick to the screens specifically made for iPods?)
