Hi there! Yesterday evening, we bought a male, long-haired Syrian Hamster. He seemed to love being held and getting attention was his favorite. He didn’t bite either; which we were very relieved about. Then, last night, he started biting and would not let us pick him up or pet him. He was up for quite a long time, so I believe he’s just really tired and cranky, but i’m not completely sure. Or could he possibly just be overwhelmed with his new home/cage? Any other ideas on why he might be performing such strange behavior so randomly?
