Mine had diabetes for years and lived to over 80. These days there are many treatments available in the West for this condition. Unless you're in a poor country I wouldn't panic, everyone has some kind of health trouble in life. Talk to your family members for reassurance.
Okay I can see that ooverwhelming for you but there is medication that suppose help your grandpa the best thing to do is support grandpa help him choose the right meals look at what he can and can't . Eat .. it not about you but it about. Grandpa health. So there fore you need to stay strong and positive and just being there for him so do a little fishing for some information on what to keep ur grandpa live longer and maintain his levels okay and try to upset him r make him stress that can effect him more
No type 2 isn't the worst because they don't have to take insulin, they just have to eat the right stuff. Type 1 diabetes is the real bad one. I am 15, and I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was 6. It is a pain in the butt. I am on an insulin pump which makes it easier, but it's still hard to take care of. Just make sure he eats the right stuff and takes the right stuff so it is not out of control. Trust him to do the right things! :)
Thank you very much
