I adopted a stray puppy on 8th June 2015 which followed me while I was returning from dinner. I took it to the vet and he gave him Parvo Virus shot. He was not vaccinated with anti-rabies as the vet suspected that it was less than 3 months old. I kept it inside my home without any enternal interaction with any animal except a stray kitten which I adopted one week after from an organization. The kitten was vaccinated with anti-rabies the day I adopted him. After 20 days from adoption of the puppy my grandmother came to visit me. The puppy has the tendency to get irritated very easily especially while playing with his toy or while picking him up when he is busy doing something else. Otherwise he is absolutely normal. He also has the tendency to playfully bite. That day he got very excited after seeing my grandmom(he seemed to love her) and playfully nipped her(On 28th June 2015). she got one small puncture which bled a little. Immediately I made her wash her hand with soap, dish washer and running water and then put high percentage alcohol on the wound. I also got her vaccinated twice with anti-rabies vaccine as stated by the vet on day 0 (28th June 2015) and day 3(1st July 2015). The problem is, on 1st July my puppy also got his first anti-rabies vaccination. How can I know if my puppy was infected with rabies at the time on the BITE? Will he show signs of rabies within 14 days if he was infected with rabies at the time of bite? Can the anti-rabies vaccine given to the puppy suppress the symptoms of rabies? My grandmother stopped after taking 2 doses of anti-rabies. What should be done now? Should she take all the five doses? If Yes, then how many vaccine should be given to her now?(As she did not take the 3rd dose of anti-rabies which was due on 5th July 2015).
My grandmother got bitten by my adopted STRAY PUPPY, does she require full 5 doses of anti-rabies?

she should follow through on the rabies vaccine if it was recommended she should have them mabe your grandma thinks she doesn't need it i also think that if the puppy had rabies the vet would have diagnosed the puppy with it very important its good your puppy is thriving in time mabe it will be less iratated also if your puppy was sick with rabies it for sure would be foaming at the mouth and been very sick throwing up lethargic just real sick if not showing theses symptoms you probably are okay do everything the vet says
