I assume that this means that she likes me, because why would she care if I knew that she didn't like me. Oh, some *minor* details: she sat with me and my friends at lunch one week, I like her, she talks to me not all the time, but sometimes.

Ok, so I think that she probably just wants you to ask her instead of a friend asking... if your friend didn't answer then to me it sounds like your crush said no, and she just like you as a friend.. or she's probably just trying to hold back axcitment about it

well it sounds like you might want to have a one on one conversation with this gal and see if she is interested in hanging out with you you can use that time to find out different things and see where it goes from there
