My feet were soaked for 8 hours working, and now my heel is painfully swollen. Is this normal?

I don't think that would be normal its very possible that you could have done something to your heel and not remember doing it the swelling isn't normal lots of things could be the reason. You might have stepped down onto something having something rub up a agianst it hard to say try a antinflamitory
