She told me it was mine when she found out at first, now she isn't sure. I want to be there for my child if it is mine and be a good father regardless of my relationship with the mother. That would include all the legal tthings including the naming and birth certificate. I don't want to test prenatal and risk the child's health, so I want to wait until she is born to test without risk of harm to her. What can I do legally to protect my rights as the (potential) father? I'm only asking on here to see if I should get a lawyer.
