I would contact your landlord about this matter and possibly remove him from the lease if the problem gets repetitive. Since both of you are on the lease, he cannot do that because you are living there as well. Only way he can changes the locks legally is if he completed the court eviction process, served you the 30 day notice etc, long court process. I went through the same thing, only thing was she was a roommate, so we went through the 30 day process after the 30 days we changed the locks because she refused to return the key and attempted to get back in the house with her key which didnt work for the new locks. So talk to your landlord and see what he or she can do to get you back in your house/apartment and probably advise legal actions
