I have a compaq presario laptop. Until recently the dvd drive had worked fine. All of a sudden it just stopped. It is not showing up in the device manager or the computer menu as if the computer is not detecting it. When I put a disc in it would usually come up with an autorun menu but nothing now. When I first start the computer up and go into the computer menu it shows up dvd rw (e) for a few seconds then it disappears. I havent changed anything on the computer and have updated it through the automatic update. Plleeeeease can anyone help. Just so you know I am not very computer minded so if you respond could you please explain as if you were talking to a 5 year old lol. Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer
