My dog is 11 years old almost 12 years old. She will probably die soon, because dog's only live 11 to 12 years old and i'm worried that my dog is next! All she does is lays on the ground and on the couch and mopes, which I asume it's her being depressed. Because she can't go on long walks anymore or even play fetch without something happening to where we have to stop playing, she wishes she could do those things, but she can't do most of those things anymore. I don't know what to do I am scared and worried that she will die soon and I will be sobbing if that happened!

Hey, it's fine. I'm gonna have the same problem in several years with my dog. My best advice for you is to spend as much time as you can with your dog. If she kicks off, vent it out. Let the feelings come out. Don't take this the wrong way, but usually getting a new pet lets your sadness thin. Don't be scared. It's a part of life. You'll meet your dog in heaven. God'll keep her safe for you when she does pass. Read something funny to get your mind off of this topic. Have fun with your dog. When I think of my dog dying, I cry. It's best to enjoy life and not worry. Easier said than done though. I laugh when my dog goes outside and rubs her butt on the concrete. Her face is so funny! One time we gave my dog a habanero pepper once, and we were dying of laughter! My dog's face was like, "I've made a very big mistake" when she swallowed it. And when her stomach stopped making movements, my dog was like "I no longer fear death, thank God that's over." Just spend time with your dog and keep your mind off of death. God bless!
Honestly, the best thing you can do is try and come to terms with her being old and getting to her point of passing. Spend lots of time with your dog and maybe spoil her a little more then usual. Take lots of pictures and make as many memories as possible. And honestly just pray and hope she can stay strong enough to at least pass away with you and your family instead of at a vet with a needle. When I was 13 I had to put my two albino lab rats down because they started to grow tumors. It was the saddest thing my little kid heart had to do.. Loosing a pet, best friend, and partner is never easy. Wishing you and your dog luck and as many days together as possible!
