I dreamt that my step mom who is dead was offering me a seat on the choir of a church i no longer attend... However it was as if she was a part of the choir.... In real life, when she was alive, she was never a choir member...... However, it was at a massive gathering in a grand hall, the choir members were all in their blue gown, and getting ready to sing, that was when she called me and got up and offered me her seat.... I was then linked to a church member who was welcoming me and encouraging me to put on my gown......
What does this dream mean?
My dead step mom offering me a seat?

Since it seems that dreams originate principally within the brain, it is not reasonable to think that they have special messages for us. We should view them as a normal function of the brain that helps maintain it in a healthful condition
The most common form of mental activity in sleep is not dreaming but thinking. Sleep thinking is not accompanied by sensory illusions and is not bizarre. It tends to be commonplace, often concerned with the real-life events of yesterday or tomorrow, and is usually banal, uncreative, and repetitive.
On the other hand, if your sleep is often disturbed by nightmares, rather than looking for any meaning in them, it might be better to look for possible causes of them in your way of life. How true what the Bible says: “For because of abundance of occupation there are dreams”!—Eccl. 5:7.
