My computer won't stop nagging me to upgrade to windows 10. Even did it by itself once. Make itstop!

Question

I disabled the automatic update through my firewall so it can't do that anymore. But now it's constantly bugging me to upgrade, and I don't want to. I like my current OS fine and see no reason to change anything. How do I make it stop bugging me?

Answer

You can't, and Microsoft is going to discontinue support for 7 and 8 in a year or two.  If it makes you feel any better 10 is a great OS that does everything 7 and 8 can do.

Go to www.howtogeek.com/ They have a section on how to cope with the nag screens. Also do the backup like they suggest so you can reload your system if you need to.
