I grow up in a Christian house hold and my parents are a very big help in our church. I don't even like going to church, let alone being criticized. I like horror games, and like making fan art, My mom saw my work and said, "The devil is a liar,"
I was kind of upset, especially when my little brother agrees. I shook it off until I was showing my mom some stuff on Etsy and telling her that liked Mythical Beast. She said that beast are bad, so then I said creatures. She said it's not bible. I kind of wanted to left hook her. I like Magic and Mythical stuff but my mom thinks it's devil stuff. I love my family, but I'm done with being criticized over my interests that have nothing to do with them. Please, I NEED some advice.
My (Christian) mother criticizes me hobbies/interests. What should I do?

Ask her why she believes your interests are wrong. They are not harming her or anyone else. They are not harming you. Liking horror games has no connection to the devil. You defeat the monsters, you don't become them. You should be allowed to live your life. Fan art is simply showing appreciation for the hard work that the creators went through. Thinking mythical beasts are cool (like i do!) does not mean you believe in them or worship them. You are not committing blasphemy!

Your hobby may seem harmless fun, but you are on a dangerous path.(Do your research).
Mythical or Mystical magic is the handmaid of sorcery, . . . witchcraft, alchemy, and, under certain conditions, religion. All these are under control by Satan and his demons. Given the opportunity, the demons can and will take advantage of you. They look for ‘convenient times’ and are relentless in their efforts. You can even harm your family if you have any object in the home relating to this.
