My car was parked next to the nature strip. Some **** deliberately rammed the front of it and drove off. The external damage is quite extensive, hood damage, bumber damage, not sure about the internal damage as of yet. The police apprehended them and asked me for a statement. Now I have to get a quote from an auto repair store and give it to them. I don't have insurance (I know, stupid, but I really couldn't/can't afford it at the moment), so, will the perpetrator be required by law to cover the cost of my damages?
