So my mom was repairing my budgie birds cage with a hot glue gun, but our bird flew back into his cage and stepped in the hot glue... we got him free but now his foot is a big clump of glue and hes only on one foot. Hes picked most of it off throughout the night but i was wondering if anyone knew if we could do anything more to help him? I know its a weird situation but if anyone knows anything to help please tell. Thanks in advance for your answer if one.

You should probably take him to the vet. However if you for some reason can't, here's what to do:
1. Soak the skin in warm soapy water. This will soften the glue. ...
2. Use an acetone nail polish remover. It must have acetone, otherwise, it won't help you at all. ...
3. Let the area dry, then use a nail emery board to remove the glue. .
4, Either it will peel on it's own or gently use something to scrape it off.
