He and she have been broken up for at least 4 years and he decided to talk to her when we broke up the last three months of my pregnancy. They took each others virginity's and she cheated on him and he always told me "shes always going to be the bitch that cheated on me" He tells me he's over her, but I've seen the texts between them and he says he's never stopped caring about her and they made plans to meet for lunch.. This was also when we were broken up. I'm now giving him another chance and I'm not sure I'm even doing the right thing, I love him, he's the father of my son, and the person I want to spend my life with, but I don't see the revolving door back.

Honestly, I want to say yes, but my insecurities get the best of me because of when we were broken up. I've done research in books on relationships that I should ask him to remove contact with her, but id feel too controlling if I did that. Because "his confusion is what he's stuck on due to the circumstances of not actually feeling the pain from the past and just setting it aside instead." If that makes sense.

See that I do understand, but the contact with them when you have a new life with someone else and a child is involved makes it different..
Sure I see her, at class reunions. Just talked, had a Cuervo or two, danced. Then my wife died and she divorced so the next reunion we hooked up. In fact , we took the hotel's penthouse and stayed a week. Mr Cuervo in the freezer and a green filled baggy in the nightstand. Go Lumberjacks!

That's true, no need to be sorry. He keeps coming back to me and hasn't really tried to be with her again..he moved back to where our son and I live and told me he wants to be with me and missed me a lot the whole time we were split up.
