I got my boyfriend of one year (but we've been talking way before that) a gift and gave it to him on xmas eve and he told me he wanted to do to xmas on new years..which I found as an excuse cuz he felt bad and didnt get me anything. I was obviously very upset and he turned it around on me saying he was trying to be romantic and had gotten me something so we could open it together. . Anyways he gave it to me and was this cheap costume jewlery that was obviously worn it was tarnished and had a hair in it and just completly hideous..probably got it from his mom and an old scarf... I know he's not in the best financial situation. . But its like you really couldn't have bought me something for 10$ .. we're both 26 yrs old... should i let this go because we have had arguments about other stuff but never in my mind would I think he would give me this.. I love him alot and I know he's broke.. but still.. should I let it go and start the new year with a blank slate with him??
