I just found this out yesterday. I was suspicious at first why she hadn't contacted me for 2 days, neither on chatting nor phone. She hadn't called me out to hang out with her either which does everyday (we are neighbours living in a compound). Since im busy with my exams i didnt contact her either and dismissed it thinking shes out of town. But yesterday i called her, but she hung up without saying anything. I called again but line was busy and then later cut off. I got panicked and rushed to my friend's house. I saw her crying and forced her to dress up and come to the rooftop with me(for privacy). She hesitantly agreed. I kept asking her the problem but no response. So i gave up and talked to her about other things, made her laugh and just chatted normally but one-sidedly. She nodded or shook her head at yes or questions. Later she started talking to me by writing things down on my phone. She told me she is depressed and just cries all day and lost interest in everything and wants to talk but she cant. She told me not to tell anyone and keep it a secret. She claims she doesnt know whats the problem but i feel she is hiding something but i didnt press her further. She did tell me something else but im sure its not the real reason and she said so herself too. She is asking me to cure her but i dont know what to do so i just hung out with her like we normally do, bought some snacks and watched videos on youtube. We returned to our homes cuz i had exam the next day and she thanked me. Plz help me cure her. Im really worried. She is 16 and im a 15 yr old girl. Her parents are also worried and dont know the reason.
My best friend hasn't uttered a single word for 2 days and just writes down to communicate. Reason?

She must be in deep depression or some really all you can do is be there for her in her time of need it might not be right away but she will talk about it in time the depression thing is sometimes cures its self but other times it doesn't its a waiting game most of the time if it doesn't get better see if you can get her to a mental health center to have her evaluated
