My 3 yr old drank probably 3 tsp of childrens motrin. what should I do?

That is a bit excessive, but I think your child should be fine. Be sure to watch him/her at all times and keep him/her awake.

call poison control and they more than likely will tell you to give her milk as Ibuprofen is one of the nsaids whereas it causes stomach ulsers taken too long,especially heavy doses and since she is so young there may be a remote possibility.if so there will be traces of blood in stools.Probably she will be ok given milk since a one time event, but caution because of her age she will be more sensitive than older siblings.don't panic unless you see adverse symptons. If so then get medical advice.poison control can set your mind at ease.
