I bought a female bunny that is 11 weeks old yesterday, she seems a bit scared and runs away.
but when I leave her alone, she wonders around jumping like she’s happy, but when i want to cuddle or pet her she avoids me a runs away.
Is there anything that could help me bond with her
I want her to come to me also if that’s possible?
i just bought her, so can you please help me because i have no idea how to make her happy.
what do they eat or play with.
any info because i really need it.
Bunnies like to get to know the owner (places) before anything
1. Don't yell or play loud music
2. Pet the head only
3. Don't hold it by its fur (gets them sad because there in pain)
4. Leave carrots
5. Keep it warm and let it sleep because they need energy

Hi someone recently asked me if I wanted a bunny and I said yes when I got it this was a big bunny and I was scared kinda cause he was big and new really thought he might bite but he did the same thing your bunny is doing goes and hide or gets away from me when I come in the room & when I leave he comes out exploring and doesn't seem to be shy so each time I went in the room I start talking real soft and nice they like cheese it's for a treat you just have to take it slow let him warm up to you you can also litter box train them when I heard that I thought it was a lie but it took 2/3 days a younger one may take longer but you get a cat box put cut up news paper or hampster shavings in the bottom & over that put alfalfa hay when they stand in there and pee it will go through the hay and the shavings/paper will soak it up the hay over it keeps them from having to stand on the soaked shavings if you have a local ag mart it like a fed store for horses you can go buy alfalfa hay by a huge horse bail for less than $20 it's so much cheaper than the store ( 1 bag of hay from Walmart cost $5 and is equal to about 1 large handful of the bail) when I saw the comparison I was angry they also like playing w/ baby rattles or take a box cut a hole in they will go in there & scratch and chew they love it as far as food I keep 8 different kinds of greens on hand the rabbit pellet food & some special treats and fruit the greens I get are bok Choy, napa cabbage, cilantro & corn on cob(two of his favs)parsley,spinach,collard greens,mustard green,turnip greens,(not actual turnips they don't like)kelp,regular cabbage,they like strawberries and I'm still finding things out forgot also carrots of course and like we don't eat the same thing everyday that's why I get so many different things I pull a little from up to 3/4 different greens & give him some and I do not give carrots everyday he sevens to love the corn cobs as much as the carrots so I rotate between the two all else I can say is read up on bunny language and behavior I have learned a lot and they are very smart and live up to about 15 years I think a good bunny name is important too what's your bunnies name mines name is Cosmo well have lots of fun with your bunny they need an hour out of their cage a day and love to go on walks and have outside time to I'm starting to realize bunnies are the BEST
