I'm assuming I convert 100cm^2 to .01m^2 but what do I do after that?

Muscle has strength of 2.5 x 10^6 N/m^2 and a cross section area of 100cm^2. How to calculate at what force muscle will fail? (Retyped for the benefit of people who are not familiar with the abbreviations.)
You did the conversion from cm^2 to m^2 correctly, now multiply the numbers.
2.5 x 10^6 N/m^2 x 10^-2 m^2 = 2.5 x 10^4 N We put the units into the equation to verify that they cancel and leave the correct units in the answer. We have N above the fraction bar and that appears in the answer. We have m^2 below the bar and again above, so that cancels and the answer is in newtons like we want it.
