The day after my mother threatened to get a divorce with my father, she gets drunk. I feel like crying and telling someone how I feel. I can't tell my father cause he's working or *cheating* as my mother says. My 20 year old brother just wouldn't understand why I would cry over it. My mother thinks my fathers cheating so she gets drunk. She goes outside at 10:20 to go buy popcorn looking like a.... I don't know what to call that. I'm thinking of telling her how I feel about her being drunk. What do I do?

You welcome~
First, whatever troubles youre parents are having, THEY AINT YOURE FAULT !!! nothing you could/ should or could/shouldnt have said or done would have bring a different outcome. Always keep that in mind. You are not to blame for their unhappiness. Talk to youre mother about what's troubling you, prefferbly when she's sober, and I bet she'll understand. She knows that what she's doing is wrong, but she just doesnt see another solution at this point, then to drown her sorrows in alcohol. I would also advise you to talk to youre school councelor/ preacher/ or another person you trust. Even if he/she cant solve this for you, it will be good for you to vent your emotions. be not too hard on youre mother, drinking is never an answer to any problem, but try to look at it as a cry for help. Due to the (alleged) cheating of youre father, she sees her entire life as she knows it, fall apart, and she cant cope with that.
Okay, thanks for the help.
