We live in Louisiana and my boyfriend was recently summoned for Jury Duty three days in a row. He has to be there by 7-7:30 am, and who knows how long he'll be there. Then he works from 4:30pm to 3am. He will be very sleep deprived if he tried doing both, so he says he probably has to stay out of work those days. Is his employer required to pay him for taking off because of this or not??
