Recently I have been taking Minocycline for acne. Im prescribed 90mg pills everyday for 3 months, im currently 2 days into my 3rd month. I also take a daily at night face cream called adapalene, however recently at random times during the day my whole body gets itchy, it comes and goes but it can be intense and painful at times. It even can get triggered such as by me getting embarrassed or doing a cardio workout, even myself stimulating it by itching myself. I was wondering if this was a direct result from me taking minocycline or adapalene and why would it occur so late into the prescription? Also if there is anything to help with this issue. Side note I haven t noticed my skin becoming red from this other then me irritating the skin by itching it or this one time i noticed when i was doing a cardio workout and I went to the bathroom to notice my face in red patches.

Minocycline
Contact your doctor immediately if fever, rash, joint pain, or tiredness occurs. These could be symptoms of an autoimmune syndrome where the body attacks itself.
Minocycline may cause your skin to be more sensitive to sunlight than it is normally. Exposure to sunlight, even for brief periods of time, may cause a skin rash, itching, redness or other discoloration of the skin, or a severe sunburn. When you begin taking this medicine.
Adapalene
During your first 4 weeks of using adapalene topical, your skin may be dry, red, or scaly. You may also feel some burning or stinging. Call your doctor if these side effects are severe. Less serious side effects are more likely to occur, such as mild burning, warmth, stinging, tingling, itching, redness, or irritation.
