If you can find a way to talk to the kids you should copy, then you can get tips and advice frrom them. If you can go to the middle school when those students get out. Watch what they wear. Now you can imitate whichever soc' (sosh*) group in with which you want to fit. Obviously, Rachel you can also avoid dressing like those who will not be helpful to you. Know that your friends will influence you greatly in these years. Pick them using thoughts from your head, not feelings from your heart. (The heart has it's place and job in your life. This in NOT one of them.) Guard your honor! >>>> *-from "social group".
People honestly don't care how you look as long as you shower and you wear things you are comfortable with. I saw that everyone was wearing these shoes so I asked for some for my bday and whenever I wore them people stared at me like I was from mars or something! So really! Just be you. If you don't feel comfortable wearing something, don't wear it! What truly matters is your personality. When someone talks to you, they most likely want to be your friend. I personally am not social, but you should try your best not to stare or talk quietly even if you don't know them but to be friendly and pretend like they are a close friend. If no one talks to your ight away, talk to them! They are probably to nervous to talk to you anyways. People always want to fit in (trust me I do 2) but what middle schoolers need to know is that it's standing out that will get you the most friends!
Hope this helped!
