Right now, I'm a psychology major earning my associates degree. I'm so lost as to which exact field I want, but recently I've been considering mental health counselor. Am I able to become a mental health counselor with a masters degree in psychology? Or do I need to change my major?
I've tried to do an immense amount of research, but some websites tell me different answers so it all gets very confusing. Please only reply if you are knowledgable and not guessing. Thank you for your time

Go talk to your career guidance counselor about being a counselor and if you need a masters in psychology. That's what they get paid to do.
I've been in therapy and I won't go to a counselor with only a Masters. They seem like wanna be doctors but couldnt cut it. They even sound different. I want a fully trained therapist.
