Mircat's comment: You can try it but you have 20 days to register in California. The same thing as if you moved from Nevada to California. California address means California plates.

Mircat's response: Never heard of guilt phase or aggravation phase of a trial. Suggest you use a law library. Maybe French and American law are very different.
