Linux Mint Partition?

andarkangel's response: Thats smart to make a special partition for ya data. Boot is small ,around the 100mb and swap even smaller .4 gb ram is good (i have 8gig ram and linux mint 17.3 and 18 both are cinnamon.

andarkangel's response: Becouse you dont need it. But if i was you , try Linux Mint 18 , its based on ubuntu except the desktop is differend. I prefer linux mint 17.3 and 18, both mint cinnamon.
