okay the last introduction that i did was really mean so i will give you a real introduction. my name is not to be said, but i play football, baseball, and basketball my dream is to be a famous football player for the seattle seahawks or the denver broncos or the colts. i am 13 years old and i want to become a famous football player for one of those nfl teams. my favorite baseball/football/basketball team is pretty obvious i now live in Sf and i like the sf giants, the sf 49ers (less now im liking the seahawks) and the golden state warriors. i live with my mom and dad and my 5 sisters and 3 brothers i like to draw cities (sf, new york, etc) and i like to watch nfl, nba, and mlb i also like watching college football,baseball and basketball i'm a sports whiz i like to watch sports with my family my siblings ages are ranged from 15-45 my sister alexandra is 18, my brother dennis is 34, my sister victoria is 15, my brother michael is 38, my sister michelle is 23, my sister carlie is 25, my sister annie is 41 and my brother zachary is 43. i am in the 7th grade my sister victoria and my sister alexandra are older victoria is in the 10th grade and my sister alexandra is in college. if you want to know some facts about swimming here they are:
Swimming as a sport was originated in England. By 1837,
London was hosting swimming competitions. By
1896,swimming became an Olympic sport for men. The first events were the 100 meter and 1500 meter
freestyle swim. Eventually the backstroke, butterfly, breaststroke, and lastly the individual medley were
added. Today the Olympics have 32 swimming races, 16
for men and 16 for women.
OLYMPIC SWIMMING POOL DIMENSIONS:
the official size of an Olympic pool is 50 meters long by 25 meters wide. Each lane is 2.5 meters wide. here are some more info on like the strokes and stuff Breaststroke:
Start this stroke in a dive
position (while in the water place both arms over your head).
The hand will then sink and extend outward and then open to big circles simultaneously
Return your hand to the starting dive position over the head
Continue this to move yourself forward
The leg
s will do a “frog kick”. Keeping your feet together while moving them up towards
the hips. This will force the knees outward. Quickly extend your legs out and then back in
back into the dive position

Breathe at the beginning of the arm motion and ending during the kicking motion
Butterfly:
The swimmer will start with his/her face in the water in prone position
Arms move simultaneously and explosively in a forward long pull
to the hips
Legs move simultaneously in a powerful downward kick that originates from the head
The whole body moves in a wave

like dolphin movement that results in a large knee bend
and a powerful kick
The power of the kick assists the body to rise out of
the water and begin another dolphin

Breathing is an explosive exhalation and then inhalation in the short second that the head
and face are above the water’s surface
Treading Water:
The body is in a vertical position while keeping
the head out of the water
No direction movement is accomplished while treading water.
While having the arm
s under the water move them in
big oval circles with the hands in a
cupped position
The legs can either move in:

Eggbeater (most efficient) motion

Move both legs at the same time in
independent circles away from the center of the body

Frog Kick (medium efficiency)
o
Scissor Kick (least efficient): Kick straight legs back and forth while extending
forward and backward
