...  apple juice and 75 were listed as taking both juice find how many students taking neither apple nor orange juice ?

it is either me not understanding the question or this is a simple substraction:

out of a total of 400, 325 (100+150+75) buy juice (does not matter what). so there are 75 left who probably preffer the beer

taking neither apple nor orange juice can also mean "not taking at all" to how many there are,we have
students in= 400students
students taking juice= 100+150+75=325students
students not taking at all= 400-325=75students
