I'm trying to figure out how long it will take me to catch up on my independent study work. The work is calculated by percentage completed. I am at 12.8% currently, but today I was supposed to be at 46.67%. A relaxed speed would be 6.7% a day. I am scheduled to complete the course on November 14. The teacher suggested I do 8-9% a day until I catch up then go back to 6.7% a day. How many days should I do 8-9% a day?

This is very interesting, I will try to answer it as best as I can.
100 - 12.8 = 87.2 needed to go.
6.7*(days remaining) = progress
Day = Nov 1
Remaining days = 13
6.7*13 = 87.1
87.2-87.1 = 0.1%
Answer:
It is very unnecessary to do 8-9% at any day, unless you cannot work on the 14th
Do 6.7% everyday expect for one day where you do 6.8%. This is assuming you CAN work on the 14th.
If you cannot, all you have to do is catch up 6.7% so really, do 8-9% for 3-6 days (depending on how much you work within 8-9%)
