It says to:
-Draw and lable a right triangle
-Draw a square on each of its side
-Cut out each square
-Can you cut and fit the two smaller squares together to cover the larger square?
The only thing I don't get is making more than one square? It's a right triangle. Please help!
Let's call the short sides A and B, and the hypotenuse C.
Draw four identical triangles and cut them out.
Use the triangles to mark a square with sides equal to A+B.
Divide the square this way:
