x+y=8;x-y=6;x+x=13;y+y=8
It has no solution Dear.
Explanation:
System of Linear Equations entered :
[1] x+y=8
[2] x-y=6
[3] x+x=13
[4] y+y=8
Equations Simplified or Rearranged :
[1] x + y = 8
[2] x - y = 6
[3] 2x = 13
[4] 2y = 8
1 St Attemp:
*Solve by Substitution :
// Solve equation [3] for the variable x
[3] 2x = 13
[3] x = 13/2
// Plug this in for variable x in equation [1]
[1] (13/2) + y = 8
[1] y = 3/2
[1] 2y = 3
// Plug this in for variable x in equation [2]
[2] (13/2) - y = 6
[2] - y = -1/2
[2] - 2y = -1
// Solve equation [1] for the variable y
[1] 2y = 3
[1] y = 3/2
// Plug this in for variable y in equation [2]
[2] - 2•(3/2) = -1
[2] 0 = 2 => NO solution
No solution
It's not that I disagree, I just couldn't understand what it is supposed to mean because it is not a standard math presentation.
I am aware that public schools started teaching nonsense for math back in the 1960s. Maybe that is what we see here.
I do not understand what you mean . I did the best I could to solve it and that was my conclusion/result. If you disagree, well is your point and I won´t discuss about it. Cheers.
