Find the height of a tree if the angle of elevation of its top changes from 20 to 40 as the observer advances 75 feet toward its base ?
The 75 feet walk creates an isosceles triangle from the origin to the tip of the tree:
2 X 75sin70 = 140 feet from origin to tip.
This then gives the right angle triangle measures from the origin:
140cos70 = 48.21 feet high.
