Been thinking of returning to my old job. I have 2 issues with it though. We ususually work 8.5-9 hour shifts and we dont even get one break. Is that legal? Also no vacation pay. Im not sure if thats a legal requirement or not...

With those hours you are entitled to two 10 min. breaks and one 30 min lunch break minimum. If you aren't receiving them you need to contact the labor board and complain. First, make sure you ask your supervisor for a break. If you are told "no" then, you should explain that you are entitled by law. If you are still not given your breaks then you need to report it.
