...My 11 yr old daughter was elbowed in her left side of her throat and now has a lump the size of a quarter what could cause this and should i take her to hospital even though she says it is painless?

Shes had ice on it since i picked her up from school and says its getting smaller and is not hurting to much and can turn her head side to side without pain at all.
