My wife leaves dirty dishes in the sink with the explanation that "that is what she does when she doesn't want to do dishes... I'm fine with it, but she gets gets mad at me if I leave rinsed dishes in the sink when I "don't feel like doing dishes". She thinks that if I took the time to rinse them I should put them in the dishwasher.. I think at least I rinsed them compared to the alternative of not rinsing it at all.. I already know the answer but she needs to hear it from someone else... Please share your thoughts

Hey Man,
I used to think the same way as you. What's the big deal right?! After three years it finally got the best of us and she served me with divorce papers. It was at that time I knew I had to change for us. I never left the dishes in the sink since and things have never been better. It's wild to think how such a small thing like dishes in the sink almost ruined our relationship. Take it from me, IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!
My feeling on the matter is that whoever uses the dish or dishes should rinse the dish and then put it in the dishwasher. Rinsing dishes is a must and it is much easier to do right after it is used. Mab1 you are half way there:) You might try to not let it bother you for a little while and maybe in time she will follow your lead.
So if I am half way there, could we all agree that she is only a quarter of the way there, therefore I am right ?
What about my pain;)... I should clarify that she also leaves dishes in the sink but does not rinse them... I rinse them and put all to one side, then load the dishwasher all at once
