Hello. I am a male, 21 y.o. I really need an advice on how to get over the loss of a best friend and if you can, maybe you can give your opinion why I lost such a good friend.
As I got myself my first job, 4 years ago, I became really good friends with a nice and beautiful lady. Time went by and we became closer and closer friends. In this 4 year period we have helped each other when we were in serious troubles, we shared our problems and secrets. She went through a divorce and I was there to help her financially and emotionally. When I was in serious troubles she always helped me too. She inspired me to accomplish some of my biggest goals in life so far. So in last couple years she became a really good friend and an older sister to me.But when she got back with her husband she became distant little by little every day. When I invited her to my birthday she told me: " why don't you invite your girlfriends, you are a popular guy now, aren't you?!" I replied that my best friend is more important then any girls. She looked down on me and said in quiet voice, ready to cry: " well, I am not your friend, so don't worry about it, just go and have fun with YOUR girls". So ever since she is acting like a stranger towards me. I was in shock first but now I am ready to cry. What in world has happened? Why did she react like this? What to do?
Help, please.

Sounds like she's a cold person that was trying to take advantage, it may be time to find a true friend and forget about her. It may seem very shocking and depressing but I doubt she was ever a true friend so don't feel guilty. I bet there's a lot of nice people who would want to have true friendship like yours.
