Loophole?

I technically won a bet even though my opponent was right, because he worded the bet wrong. Is it being a bad person to claim you technically won and not pay them?

hello this is how i would see it sense he worded it wrong not knowing how it was put  i would split it with the person it would be fair i think

When betting you should always be aware of how you word things. It sounds like you are the real winner, but I would think hard about if this could ruin a friendhsip.
